December Challenge Update
Remember my December Challenge ~ Enjoy Each Day? Here is how it is working out so far...
I started the month with a Run in the Rain! After a couple of days of rain, I couldn't stand it anymore, I just had to get out and do something. On Saturday it was raining very lightly, so I went for it. It was so refreshing and fun!
I cooked Mushroom Chicken. I've made this a few times, and thought it was on my blog but couldn't find it. I promise to do a Friday Foodie on it soon.
This was probably my favorite morning of the week. After many days of rain, I hopped on my bike and hit the trail on Tuesday morning. Total mud ride! My favorite saying while riding: "I must have been smiling, because there was mud on my teeth."
Our Annual End of the Year Banquet was last night. The DeAro's provided hilarious entertainment! I enjoyed myself very much. The food was good, too!

Mileage Update and a New Challenge
I had a down week this week. I've been fighting a summer cold, nothing major, just enough to slow be down a bit. So I was happy to receive an email from the MapMyRide Team. I've decided to compete in the 2011 Aquaphor Le Tour Challenge.
The Tour de France starts today and the challenge goes until the end of the Tour on July 24th. I won't be riding the distance of the Tour riders, but I do want to increase my mileage and maybe, just maybe, I'll win a prize in the process! Here's a little more info:
Totals for Week ending July 2:
Running: 25.80
Cycling: 11.03
Total: 36.83
Year-to-Date:
Running: 663.96
Cycling: 620.89
Total: 1284.85
We're at the halfway point ~ I'm probably looking at a 2500-2600 mile year again! How is your fitness progressing?
