After our beautiful day in Capri, we enjoyed one last sailing and sunset from room 8616.

Flashback Friday

Les and I will be celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary in May.  We started planning and booked our trip last May!  We are flying to Rome, spending a few days there, then joining a cruise ship that will take us to ports in Italy and Greece!  To say we are excited is an understatement!

I was rereading my posts from our 20th anniversary cruise last night.  Such incredible memories!

June 26th ~ Sunglasses (Photo A Day)

This is not a new picture, but it's a favorite!  Christmas 2010 we were trying to create our Christmas cards and every picture we had of ourselves we were wearing sunglasses!  Our cards did not have this picture, but it's still a favorite.

 

I wear sunglasses year round.  My baby blues can't take glare.

A Lifetime Adventure

A few weeks ago we attended a college graduation.  The speaker addressed the graduates, telling them that now they were headed on The Path, the journey their life would take.  I chuckled to myself and wondered how many of those graduates would stick with the path they had chosen as teenagers and young adults.  Life is really like this:

Today is our 24th wedding anniversary.  What an adventure we have had!  We honeymooned on Oahu and Kauai.  We promised that we would come back every fifth anniversary.  Little did we know that we would live there for a year and that Hawaii would feel like our second home!

We've had sickness and health.  We've had job losses and promotions.  We've had sorrows and joys.  It hasn't been exactly as we imagined or dreamed - it's been so much better!  When we said "I Do," we meant it.  And we'll keep enjoying this adventure of a lifetime!

Happy anniversary to my one and only!  I love you!

We've had sickness and health...

We've been richer and poorer...

We've also had more joy and adventure than I ever imagined...

And I'd say I Do, all over again...

Today is our 19th wedding anniversary! I am so blessed to be married to my favorite person in the whole world! How cool is that?

The years have flown. It seems like yesterday when we walked down the aisle with huge happy grins on our faces...


We've been camping...


And cruising...


And seen most of the Hawaiian islands...


We've hiked...


And been silly...


And romantic...


And kicked back...



But there's no one in the world I'd rather be married to than Les McElhaney!
