Maple Bar, Anyone?

A year ago I wrote Fall Favorites - Candles. I still don't know why I burn them more during this time of year, but I do. I also like the little wax tarts that Yankee Candle makes. I have an electric warmer that I use ~ just plug it in and go, no need to worry if you forget to blow your candle out.

I picked up a few new fragrances last month ~ 50% off so I wasn't afraid to try a few new ones. Burning right now is "Maple Pancakes" and I am ready to run off to the nearest donut store for a maple bar! It smells incredible... I don't know if a maple bar would taste as good as this smells! It's really a good thing I'm too lazy to go anywhere right now...

Fall Favorite - Candles

One of my favorite things about Fall is candles! I love the Fall scents. I burn candles at other times of the year, but these scents just seem to "work" in the Fall! Here are three that I have out at my house right now:

Yankee - Hazelnut Coffee
I am not a coffee drinker, but I love how this candle smells! It's very warm and inviting.

Slatkin & Co. - Vanilla Caramel
This is burning in my house as I type! Don't have time to bake, but want the smell? This candle is the answer!

Aromatique - Cinnamon Cider
This is one of my all time favorites! The smell is very strong. I can light it and pretty soon the entire house smells wonderful!

I've also had a few "dud" candles in my time. This one had absolutely no smell. No matter how long it was lit - nothing. I was ready to throw it out when inspiration hit!

I went to Joann's and bought three little Fall flower arrangements for 99 cents each. I burned the candle until I had some melted wax, blew it out and put the pieces in! New use for a candle with no smell!

Do you have a favorite candle scent?
