When we were in Santa Barbara on Les' birthday we spent an hour "at sea". There were times when we were going with the current, and the ride was smooth and easy. Going against the current made for a much choppier ride, with an occasional unexpected dip or rise. There were also moments when we put the motor in neutral and just enjoyed the scenery.
This journey called life can take unexpected turns, some for the good, others not so good. But keeping our life in His hands, we can be assured that we will land safely on the other side.
