My Dad is on his way to back
UCSF. He was taken to St. Agnes hospital in Fresno by ambulance last night. They ran
numerous tests including an MRI, a CT scan and lots of x-rays. The
doctor showed Kim the x-rays and he has some fluid around his lungs and
some fluid in his belly that probably has something to do with his
recent surgery. The doctor from St. Agnes contacted Dad's doctor in San
Francisco and they agreed that it would be best for Dad to be
transported there right away. The ambulance left St Agnes about 4:45
this morning to take him to San Francisco.
We have been very concerned for
several weeks now, Kim and I spent much time on the phone yesterday talking about him and trying to figure out what to do next. Kim had even called his doctor in San Francisco yesterday
morning. We feel very confident that this is the best thing for him
right now.
