For almost 22 years, Friday night has been date night for Les and I. We don't always do something big, but it's my night off from the kitchen. Last Friday night was our first in Oahu (we arrived late the previous Friday, but just came straight to our hotel.) After dinner at Outback and ice cream at Lappert's, we were slowly making our way back to our hotel when we noticed quite a few people sitting on the beach facing one direction. After inquiring, we learned that the Hilton Hawaiian Village puts on a fireworks display on Friday nights. Yay for free Friday night entertainment!

We go out almost every Friday night for dinner somewhere. Then we do really fun stuff like go hang out at Orchard Supply, Target, Costco or some other really happening place like that. Sometimes we even buy something. ;)
We have those kind of dates, too!
