We are currently on Oahu. This alert popped up on phones all over the islands. Not exactly how I planned to spend my Saturday morning.
I'll admit, I was a little freaked out. For about 10 minutes it appeared that the alert was legitimate. I kept searching the internet and finally found out it was a false alarm. About 40 minutes later it was officially confirmed. This turned out to be false evidence, but it sure seemed real for a while!
