Today is our 30th wedding anniversary! We won't be taking a fancy trip, but we are together and that makes it a great day. Would you like to take a walk down memory lane with me via photos? Here are 30 for 30:

Happy PEARL Anniversary!
Our RUBY Anniversary (forty years!) is Sunday, May 30. To celebrate, we're flying today to Knoxville, Tennessee. All our children and grandchildren are meeting us at Oak Haven Resort for five nights in Sevierville.
On Sunday, the dress code for the day is Red, White and Blue. After breakfast, we're going to the East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery. I doubt that our children have taken their children to a cemetery yet. They are 3, 2 and 1, and we believe in training children early to be thankful for all those who gave their lives for the freedoms the United States of America presently enjoys.
Later, we THINK we're going to take our supper at Paula Dean's Kitchen where they serve Southern fare family style. A laid back but enjoyable day is what Good Husband and I personally have in mind. I got sparkly 4 and 0 numbers on sticks to include in some photographs, and our kids are getting a cake. Simple. We told the girls they can make a big fuss over us for our Golden in ten years: 2031. (That sounds... WOW!)
We head back to the North Pacific July 18. We're hopeful to meet with Bishop McGriffin and some Marshallese brethren regarding their Marshallese work as a way of gaining some direction regarding the Marshall Islands in Micronesia. We have no apostolic presence there that we know of.
The hotel where we normally stay on O'ahu is closed, as is Chuck's Cellar where GH loved to order his favorite steak. We're afraid we'll be visiting a ghost town, having no idea what to really expect. As required by Hawai'i's Safe Travels, we must get our NAAT COVID test performed 72 prior to the final leg of our flight to HNL. We were both vaccinated (Pfizer) as required by our countries/territories in Micronesia. We are not "vaccine people" or big on "medicine," but we know where all this is headed, and that, for international travel, the vax will be required.

What a welcome surprise to see your name and comment. Happy Ruby Anniversary to you. It sounds like a wonderful celebration is planned. We have been to East Tennessee many times and it's always so beautiful. Relaxing with family sounds perfect. And congrats on your growing family - 3 grands ~ how fun!
There has been talk of Hawaii allowing visitors who are vaccinated to skip the COVID test, so that might be the case by July. Beware that your test is from a Hawaiian approved tester, we had friends that were forced to quarantine because they did not get their test from the correct tester. We are looking forward to getting back to Hawaii ourselves, but for now Les' company is still working from home. We miss our church family there so much!
Hawaii was very much a ghost town when we were there last September, but it is getting busier as many Americans want to travel this year, but are unable to go internationally, so Hawaii has been the choice.
As far as our front wall work, it has turned into a full redo of our entire landscaping, front and back. This has included redoing sprinkler systems, cleaning and sealing all the stone work on the house, removal of all sod, and new plants. The first wave of plants arrived today, sod will be put in next week. We are getting close, then I'll have a big reveal!
