Amazing!

We were blessed in church yesterday to have Bro. Walter Combs with us. He is 75 years old and preached his first sermon when he was nine! He held his first revival when he was 14. Not only did he preach a revival, but it was several states from his home town! I could just see a young man, not even old enough to drive, having to take a bus or train to preach his first revival!


You would think at age 75 he would be ready to slow down a little, but that was not the case. He preached with fire and anointing. He also quoted scripture after scripture. He would quote a verse or two, then give the reference. I always follow along in my Bible during the preaching and yesterday morning he quoted the entire third chapter of second Timothy!



Bro. Combs was an inspiration to me! He is proof that you're never too old for the Word of God.
