Les had a wonderful night's sleep last night. He slept solidly for about 10 hours, only waking for a few minutes a couple of times. He was up for quite a while today. Took a couple laps around the floor. Worked on his computer. Took a picture of his sleeping wife!
I have obviously needed more rest and the 30 minute power nap did me a lot of good!
We had a little scare this evening. His drain started leaking at the site. The nurse came in and felt that it was just clogged. We were concerned that the drain (and fluids) would get backed up into his body, but the problem seems to be corrected now. He has had very little drainage since then and we're believing that his tear is closing up.
We're hoping the doctor will order a follow up Barium Study tomorrow. Please continue praying that the tear closes up completely. He's finally feeling good enough to be bored with the hospital.
I am now posting from the hospital - we have wireless internet access and Les is starting to enjoy contact with the outside world!
